Torria Payton is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist AMFT123106, under the supervision of Yvonne Jackson, LMFT92389. Torria received her Master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling from Brandman University. Torria earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, San Bernardino.
Torria’s experience stems from working with both adults and children. She is a former Career Counselor specializing in placement of individuals with disabilities and veterans and their families. Torria experience includes assisting individuals with Posttraumatic stress disorder, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, and Substance Use. Torria has worked as a Behavior Therapist for children on the Autism Spectrum. She has utilized Applied Behavior Analysis, Discreet Trail Training and Play therapy to assist children to thrive and meet their full potential.
