Mrs. Terrazas earned a master’s in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Los Angeles. 

 Mrs. Terrazas is a compassionate, culturally sensitive, bilingual therapist (English/Spanish). Her experience includes treating survivors of sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, generational trauma, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Before completing her graduate studies, Mrs. Terrazas worked as a child family specialist and provided direct services to at-risk youth and their families. As a former behavior therapist, she implemented behavior, safety, and developmental plans for children on the autism spectrum. She also has experience in social work and public assistance programs.

  Mrs. Terrazas completed a practicum at a residential treatment center providing services to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. She is knowledgeable in relapse prevention and the recovery process.

 Mrs. Terrazas believes in providing a safe, non-judgmental space to support clients’ emotional well-being and autonomy.  She utilizes an integrative approach to therapy to meet clients' individual needs. Her approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy. 

 Mrs. Terrazas is a Catholic Christian wife and mother of three. As such, she understands the importance of spirituality and faith when dealing with life’s struggles. If you are ready to take the next step, she would like to be a part of your journey of self-discovery and healing.
