Jennifer Kolbow, MA, AMFT
Jennifer Kolbow is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist AMFT123146, under the supervision of Yvonne Jackson LMFT 93289. She is a graduate of Touro University Worldwide with a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Jennifer has experience working with children, teens, and adults, providing treatment for anxiety, depression, self-esteem and relationship issues. She has worked in a school setting, providing additional support to help students achieve their academic goals while dealing with common developmental challenges. Jennifer has also treated court ordered clients struggling with substance abuse, anger management, parenting, and co-parenting.
Through an integrative approach to therapy, Jennifer works to meet the needs of each individual client. Her personal experiences as a child of divorced parents, woman, wife, and parent, allow her to further empathize with those struggling with their relationships, career path, and family life.
Jennifer is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) therapy and other evidence based techniques. By providing a safe and non-judgmental environment, her hope is to help clients explore their thoughts and emotions, build upon their strengths, and make positive changes, as they face life’s challenges.
