Briana Wilson is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples, family, and child therapy. She brings over 15 years of experience working with at-risk youth and their families, having served as a Child Care Specialist, Supervisor, Educator, and now as a Social Service Practitioner with Riverside County’s Children Services Division.
Briana holds a Master of Science in Counseling/Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Grambling State University. She has developed extensive skill in trauma-informed care, family systems, and individual therapy, with a passion for helping clients navigate complex life challenges.
Her expertise extends to public speaking and community education. She has presented at Mt. Erie Baptist Church’s Annual Youth Conference and Youth & Parent Summit on topics such as At-Risk Youth and Trauma and How Trauma Affects the Parental Relationship. She has also served on panels and facilitated caregiver education workshops, equipping families to better understand how trauma affects the brain, behavior, and self-esteem.
Briana’s therapeutic style is hands-on, conversational, and evidence-based. Drawing primarily from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, she helps clients connect their thoughts and feelings to their behaviors, empowering them to create lasting change. She also integrates a client-centered approach, ensuring clients maintain autonomy in the therapeutic process while rediscovering and strengthening their own resources for growth.
Briana’s passion extends beyond providing therapy sessions—her work is grounded in a deep commitment to helping people rebuild what’s been broken, restore what’s been lost, repair relationships, and heal from trauma. She believes that true transformation addresses the whole person, empowering individuals and families to move forward with renewed strength, purpose, and hope.
Her therapeutic philosophy is guided by the belief that healing is not only possible but attainable when clients are equipped with the right tools, support, and encouragement. Whether working with children, couples, or families, Briana’s mission is to walk alongside her clients in their journey toward wholeness, creating space for growth, resilience, and restoration.
