Joe Pollock, AMFT
Joe Pollock is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist AMFT108787, under the supervision of Dr. Yvonne Jackson LMFT 93289. He is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Joe has experience working with children, teens, and adults, providing treatment for trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and relationship issues. He has worked in a school setting, providing additional support to help students achieve their academic goals while contributing to students’ ISP and 504 plans. Joe has also treated clients struggling with substance abuse, anger management, parenting, and co-parenting, providing parenting training as required or requested. Joe has also worked with clients who have experienced extreme trauma including physical abuse, sexual abuse and neglect.
Through an integrative approach to therapy, Joe works to meet the needs of each individual client. HIs personal experiences as a child of divorced parents, man, husband, father, grandfather and pastor, allow him to further empathize with those struggling with their relationships, career path, and family life.
Joe is trained in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy and other evidence-based techniques. By providing a safe and non-judgmental environment, his hope is to help clients explore their thoughts and emotions, build upon their strengths, and make positive changes, as they face life’s challenges.
