Confidentiality & Privacy Policy

The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist. Unfortunately, the information shared within the session cannot be shared without written permission.

Exceptions:

• We are required to report all suspected child abuse, dependent adult, or elder abuse to authorities immediately. 
• If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, we must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
• If a client intends to harm him or herself, we will try to enlist the client's cooperation in ensuring their safety. If the client does not cooperate, additional measures will be taken to ensure their safety without the client's permission.
